I have to say I am new to this blogging stuff and frankly it has taken me four years to get accustomed to have a laptop in my life at all. My daughter in law visited us last month – we live in France and my daughter in law (and son) comes out to see us quite a bit – which is just lovely us being so far from home, it was one of my biggest concerns about living in a foreign country abroad. She showed me the benefits of having a blog and blogging in general, both to keep in touch with family but also to get involved in online communities so we don’t feel too lonely out here – to be honest we aren’t really lonely at all we have met some really great people here and haven’t looked back at all – there is plenty to do in the evening and there is a real sense of community out here. I thought I would also mention this great new site I have discovered, you can actually order all the British food that we can’t get in France – I mean it is all very well relatives bringing stuff over when they visit but the everyday stuff you just can’t get easily. The site is called British Online Supermarket and you can buy British food , online and get it sent out, great stuff if you ask me and I get all the chocolate I want so try them out and enjoy the site!
